Johnson Cartographic LLC was founded in 2019. The owner and cartographer, Matt Johnson, has over 15 years of experience with expert geographic information system (GIS) and graphic design skills who combines the art and science of cartography efficiently and effectively to produce print, digital, and web products. His past employers have included Maps.com and National Geographic Maps. Currently he is the Cartographic Specialist and Digital Collections Manager at the Indiana Geological and Water Survey.
